Richard’s ‘Yoga for Runners and Cyclists’ workshop was quite different from his usual classes, but it was just as amazing. I hope everyone there took to heart the time he took to spend on the breath work. Not very long ago I was unable to run 3 miles without being completely winded. Because of his explanation of lung capacity at the workshop, I put it together that my increased endurance has come from my increased yoga practice and better utilization of breath. I don’t mean to be anti-yoga and brag, but I was able to complete 8 miles in the time I usually complete 7 this morning and it felt great physically and mentally. AWESOME workshop—I look forward to the next one!
